BEREA — New Browns quarterback Jake Delhomme didn’t make any excuses for his poor play with Carolina in 2009.
 
“I didn’t play good football. Very simple,” he said Wednesday in his introductory news conference. “2009 football-wise wasn’t fun. I tried to press way too much. I wasn’t being me.”
