6pm 1939 Radio adaptation of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol narrated by Orson Welles and starring Lionel Barrymore.

7pm Mannheim Steamroller’s An American Christmas stories and legends surrounding the holiday, all keyed to today’s popular and traditional Christmas music. There’s Mannheim music, but also all the traditional music of the holiday, too. It’s hosted by Chip Davis of Mannheim Steamroller.

Mannheim Steamroller’s An American Christmas is a long-form 12-hour, highly produced program, comprised of the stories and legends surrounding the holiday, all keyed to today’s popular and traditional Christmas music. Sure, there’s Mannheim music, but also all the traditional music of the holiday, too. It’s hosted by Chip Davis.

The 12 Days of Christmas broadcast each day at 8:35am & 4:50pm December 7th, 10th-14th, 17th – 21st and Christmas Eve 2012. The programs are hosted by Chip Davis, founder of the top-selling Mannheim Steamroller. In 60 seconds, listeners learn about the origin of Christmas trees, Santa, hanging stockings, eggnog, Christmas Cards, and more.
