On Thursday, June 22nd at 6pm, the United Way of Greater Lorain County will hold their Second Annual  Spellebrate Lorain County: A Night at the Bee! fundraiser at the Emerald Event Center in Avon.

Teams of four will compete for a  $1,000 grand prize, but it’s not just the spelling that will dictate how far a team goes. Spectators can help influence the outcome of the game by saving their favorite teams from elimination, and they too will have a chance at claiming a share of the jackpot!

During the event, WEOL’s Craig Adams will bring the public live updates on WEOL.

In addition to the spelling bee, the evening will also include a silent auction, sideboards and more fun ways to win prizes! Tickets for the event are $30 each and include dinner and drink ticket.
