Harvest for Hunger 2019

Through April 13, The Second Harvest Foodbank of North Central Ohio will be conducting their annual Harvest for Hunger Campaign.

The annual community-wide campaign raises food and funds to stock food pantries, soup kitchens and shelters throughout the region – which includes Crawford, Erie, Huron and Lorain counties.

Harvest for Hunger is one of the largest campaigns of its kind in the nation, raising more than $2,500,000 and 400,000 pounds of food last year.

There are many ways to get involved with the Campaign.

  • Become a Harvest for Hunger partner at your workplace or school. Encourage your company to join hundreds of others and run an employee fund and/or food drive.
  • Donate at your local Giant Eagle or Heinen’s store. Make a contribution at the register through Check Out Hunger or place food donations in Harvest for Hunger collection areas.
  • Donate Online. Financial gifts can be made through our website.
