Friday, 3/31/17

3:40- Ryan Fowler of Fox Sports gave us an idea as to what we can expect from the final weekend of action in the NCAA Men’s College Basketball Tournament, and gave us some great Fantasy Baseball Insight heading into the opening weekend of the 2017 season.

4:10- Judy Payne, Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Cleveland Kids Book Bank told us all about the organization, and told us about their event coming up next Wednesday, April 5th, Eat Drink and Be Literary in Avon.

4:40- Matt Yunker, Athletic Director at North Ridgeville High School joined us for our weekly “Ask the AD” segment to give us an update on what is going on in the world of Ranger athletics.

Thursday, 3/30/17

3:40- Comedian Steve Byrne, who is performing at Hilarities in Downtown Cleveland this weekend told us about his new standup which debuts next week on Showtime, “Tell the Damn Joke” as well as a few other tales about his time in comedy.

4:40- Rick Noland of the Elyria Chronicle Telegram and the Medina Gazette discussed the Cleveland Cavaliers and their recent struggles, and talked about their chances of being able to turn things around before the playoffs.

5:10- Liz Schneider came in studio to talk about this weekend’s North Coast BIA Home Show event at the Emerald Events Center in Avon.

Tuesday, 3/28/17

3:40- Avon Police Captain Larry Fischbach talked about Thursday morning’s Coffee with a Cop event which allows residents the opportunity to sit down and talk to cops in a casual atmosphere.

4:10- AJ Hodel, CEO of Athletic Sponsorship Corporation was in studio to discuss the services they provide to parents, coaches,  and student-athletes when it comes to recruiting, and seeking athletic and academic scholarships, as well as their recruiting master class event on Wednesday night.

5:10- Joel Hammond of the Cleveland Indians stopped by to discuss the final few days of spring training, as well as the big news of signing Jose Ramirez to multi-year extension, keeping the core of the Tribe together for many years.

Monday, 3/27/17

4:10- Scott Longert, Author of No Money, No Beer and No Pennants talked about the book, which discusses the Cleveland Indians during the Great Depression and the challenges that were presented to the area at the time.

4:40- Al Harris, our Hollywood Insider discussed the recent trend of movies making their way to Netflix and skipping the box office, and what shows we should be watching this week.

5:10- Patrick Shepherd from the Cleveland International Film Festival told us about all of the festivities they have planned for the next two weeks at the 41st CIFF event which includes over 200 feature films and virtual reality features as well.

Friday, 3/24/17

3:40- Janet Herman Barlow and Steve Sefchik from the Lorain County Community College’s Stocker Arts Center told us all about their events coming up this weekend and into next week.

4:10- Orlando Grant, President and CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lorain County joined us to talk about Saturday’s Bowl For Kids Sake Event, and talked about his experience with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lorain County.

4:40- Ryan Fowler of Fox Sports and WhatIfSports.com stopped by to tell us about the Sweet 16 Round of the NCAA March Madness Tournament, and was able to shed some light on Sabermetrics and how they should be handled from a Fantasy Baseball Perspective.

5:10- Senior writer at the Elyria Chronicle Telegram Brad Dicken was in studio to discuss two pieces that he wrote this week, dealing with the population growth of Lorain County and the Sales Tax increase.

Thursday, 3/23/17

3:40- Brian Frederick of the Community Foundation of Lorain County discussed the Foundation, their mission, and last weekend’s event where they taught a group of teenagers about Philanthropy.

4:10- Dan Helm stopped by to discuss the Sweet 16 Round of the NCAA March Madness Tournament and gave us an idea as to what we can expect over the next few days.

4:40- Coach Alan Januzzi spent some time telling us about Sunday’s Lorain County Boys Basketball All-Star game.

5:10- Jeff Traxler of Mega Championship Wrestling came in studio to talk about this Saturday’s event at St. John’s Gym titled “Moe Money, Mo Problems” and we gave away a few tickets as well.

Wednesday, 3/22/17

3:40- Joel Hammond of the Cleveland Indians talks about the injuries that have plagued the Tribe during spring training, and how the depth of the organization has really been on display over the last couple of weeks.

4:10- Lynn Maslinski of the Lorain Community Music Theater discusses this weekend’s auditions for the Little Mermaid, as well as the LCMT celebrating its 40th anniversary and the awards they won in 2016.

5:10- Dr. Natalie Migoni of Healthscource Chiropractic of Avon discusses Wednesday night’s event for Cleveland Brewery Runs.

Tuesday, 3/21/17

3:40 – Our Hollywood Insider, Al Harris told us what to watch for this week, and explained why the Box Office has been so busy over the last few weeks.

4:40- Amherst Steele Athletic Director Casey Wolf was our guest on the “Ask the AD” segment, and told us all about the Comets, touching on their incredible accomplishments in the winter season, and what to expect in the spring.

5:10- Sandra Ballard of the “Say Yes to the Dress Event” discussed the event, which takes place April 7-9 at the Greater Victory Christian Ministries in Lorain.

Monday, 3/20/17

3:40- Ryan Mitchell of the Columbus Blue Jackets Radio Network discussed the red hot Blue Jackets and what lies ahead in their final 11 games of the regular season.

4:10- Rick Noland of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram and the Medina Gazette gave us a good look at what to expect from the Cleveland Cavaliers over the final four weeks of the regular season.

5:10- Rosanna Hrabnicky tells us all about the Cleveland Home and Remodeling Expo this weekend at the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland.

4:10pm – Sober Seventeenth brings the true spirit of St. Patrick’s day by providing a family-friendly, alcohol free celebration with great Irish Music. Today, Chairman President Jack Kiroy and esteemed Irish Singer James Kilban talked about the event and sang.
