The United Way’s “A Night at the Bee” Returns this Friday!

The United Way of Greater Lorain County’s Signature Event, “A Night at the Bee”, returns this Friday, April 19th! Watch the 12 semifinal teams play over 4 categories of Spelling, STEM, History, and Art in hopes to win the $1,000 prize and traveling trophy. You can win big also! Themed after a night at the races, you can play the Honey Pot raffle and see if you can walk away with cash as well! Dinner and drink ticket are included with registration, as well as access to activities such as our silent auction, photo booth, Bee Wheel trivia game and 50/50 Honey Pot Raffle.

Dave Zvara Makes Coaching Return to Amherst

Our good pal Dave Zvara is back on the sidelines! Dave will take over at Amherst as the new head girls basketball coach in place of John Rositano, who stepped down after this past season.

Dave stepped down from the same position at Avon Lake following the 2021-2022 season but is ready to wear the coaching hat yet again. Congratulations to Coach and the entire Amherst community!
