5:40-Michael Sapienza and Adina Frazier of the Colon Cancer Alliance called in to tell us all about this Saturday’s Cleveland Undy Run/Walk which will help fight colorectal cancer.

Monday, 9/25/17

3:40-Tim Stried of the OHSAA joined us to discuss the highlights from last week’s board of director’s meeting, and discussed the system behind the high school football computer rankings.

4:10-Joel Pierson with “The Queen’s Cartoonists” band joined us to tell us all about their show this Thursday at the Hoke Theatre at LCCC.

5:10-Jeff Harper with Harper comics joined us to talk about the Comics, Cards and Nostalgia show coming up on October 8th.

3:40-David Pritt, Director of Curriculum and Instruction with the North Ridgeville City School District was our inaugural guest on the Nordson Corporation “Champions of Education” segment, discussing the reaction from students, parents and teachers to the brand new academic center.

3:40-Joel Hammond of the Cleveland Indians joined us to talk about the Tribe’s ticket sales, their television and ratio ratings, all of which are soaring, and also told us about their idea to use only fan tweets for Tuesday night’s game against the Angels.

3:40-Shawn Dunagan of WBNS-TV in Columbus joined us to discuss Ohio State’s loss last week to Oklahoma, and what to expect this Saturday as the Buckeyes take on Army.

4:10-Joel Hammond with the Cleveland Indians made his weekly appearance on the show, discussing many different elements of this incredible winning streak for the Tribe.

5:10-Tim Williams with Communities that Care of Lorain County joined us in studio to talk about their Champions Award, and the three finalists who have done some great things.

4:10-Adam Matthews with the Elyria Public Library joined us to tell us about all the great events coming up this fall at the library.

4:40-Linda Brown stopped by to talk to us about the Elyria Apple Festival this weekend, and told us how the event has evolved over the last 37 years.

5:10-Jim Vandemark with Vandemark jewelers talked about how he got his start in the jewelry business, and shared some great stories about the Apple Festival, including the year he spent as a judge and taste tester for the Apple Pie baking contest.

5:40-Rodney with the Foundry joined us to tell us all about the building of the restaurant, the terrific food and the great people he has hired along the way.

4:10-Coach Dick Bickel is being inducted into the Midview Athletics Hall of Fame next weekend and he took some time to talk to us about how the Hall of Fame has developed over the years, and the great teams he coached over the years as well.

5:10-Ron Hobar is also being inducted into the Midview Athletics Hall of Fame next weekend and he joined us to discuss his playing days with the Middies and all that he has experienced after his playing days as well.
