Week 5 of Lorain County high school football saw North Ridgeville beat Avon 42-14 to go 5-0 as well as Columbia beating Keystone 41-14, Black River over Oberlin 21-6 and Bay beating Midview 41-33.

Keystone and Midview may have lost, but both schools had plenty to celebrate because it was homecoming. At Keystone, Corry Sprouse and Mara Gordon were named homecoming king and queen, and at Midview Joshua Wells and Tayler Squires were crowned.
