President Barack Obama’s visit to Lorain County on Friday is billed as the second stop on the “White House to Main Street Tour,” the first being Allentown, Pa., in December.

He’s pledged to meet with workers who have lost their jobs, business owners and workers during the trip to an area that’s been hard hit by the national recession.

Regardless of how many people actually get to bend the president’s ear, we’re pretty sure there will be plenty who won’t have such an opportunity.

So that’s why we are asking you to write and tell us what you’d say to the president given the opportunity. We plan on publishing them prior to his visit, so get moving — we’ll need them in our hands by Wednesday to get them into the paper.
