The Indians got a scare when second baseman and leadoff hitter Asdrubal Cabrera left the game with an injury after diving back to third base on a pickoff attempt in the fifth inning, but it doesn’t appear serious.
After the game, manager Manny Acta said Cabrera had a “little pain in his (left) leg.”
Cabrera did not walk with a limp as he made his way off the field with the rest of Cleveland’s regulars en route to board a bus for the Indians clubhouse.
Head trainer Lonnie Soloff is expected to update Cabrera’s status today.
