Hits: Carlos Carrasco’s first exhibition start (second appearance) was a good one. The right-hander tossed four scoreless innings against a lineup of Rockies regulars and allowed just a walk, while striking out three. … Reliever Jensen Lewis allowed a hit in the seventh but still worked a scoreless inning. … Catcher Wyatt Toregas went 1-for-3 with an RBI and picked a runner off first base.

 

Misses: Reliever Mike Gosling took the loss after allowing four runs on five hits and a walk in just 1 1/3 innings of work. … First baseman Shelley Duncan went 0-for-3 and struck out twice. … Reliever Tony Sipp allowed an unearned run and walked three batters in one inning of work.

 

Oops: Prospect Wes Hodges’ transition from third to first base has not gone well this spring. Hodges dropped another throw at first and was charged with his third error.
