A.J. Pierzysnki hit a three-run home run off Frank Herrmann in the ninth inning to lift the White Sox to a 4-3 victory over the Indians at Progressive Field on Tuesday night.
The game was tied at one when Pierzynski connected on an 0-1 pitch and sent it into the seats in right-center field.
Justin Masterson pitched well for the Indians, allowing just a run on four hits, while striking out seven over 7 2/3 innings.
