Tate was listed as an inmate at the Lorain city jail and was arrested Friday morning, according to Tony Keffer, U.S. Marshals Service task force coordinator for Lorain County.

Keffer said Tate was taken in thanks to a a tipster and said he was picked up at a home on Lakeside Road in Cleveland, where he was found hiding under a pile of clothes about 10 a.m. Friday.

“Everyone in the house was lying, so we’ll be pressing charges,” Keffer said.

Tate is wanted for trafficking heroine through Lorain County Common Please Court, Keffer said. According to a police report listed for his incarceration at Lorain city jail, he was being held on charges of no driver’s license, expired plates and driving under suspension.

According to Keffer, Tate’s arrest means no more Lorain Countians are on the most-wanted list, which is updated monthly.
