ELYRIA — Police are on the scene of a shooting at 401 Second St.

The shooting was reported about 1:45 this afternoon. According to crews at the scene, the victim, an adult male, received a small-caliber gunshot wound to the abdomen.

He was reportedly found on the fourth floor of the apartment building. It was unclear where the shooting occurred, but officers took as evidence torn clothing found outside the building.

Police are looking for a shooter who left with other people in a black vehicle.
