Leading up to the 2024 total solar eclipse that will be visible throughout northeast Ohio, the WEOL Morning Show will be conducting interviews to help get you ready for this historic event!

#3 – LaGrange Community Park Viewing Party

  • Come join the sol-a-bration! A once-in-a-lifetime event will grace the skies of Ohio on April 8th, 2024, when our sun will be completely shadowed by Earth’s moon. Jeffrey Woytach from Space Systems Consulting, LLC, joined the WEOL Morning Show as his group is hosting a viewing party with LaGrange Community Park, set for 11am-5pm on April 8th! There will be exhibits, safe viewing of the eclipse, a live concert, and more!

#2 – Safety and Service

#1 – Join the Sol-a-bration!

  • Come join the Sol-a-bration! A Partial Solar Eclipse, where a portion of Sol will be covered by the Moon, will grace the skies of Northeast Ohio on Saturday, October 14th, 2023. The Lorain County Metroparks, the Black River Astronomical Society (B.R.A.S.), and Space Systems Consulting, LLC, are hosting an eclipse celebration at Lakeview Park in Lorain that day from 11am-3pm! Steve Schauer from the B.R.A.S. joined the Morning Show to talk about the event, which will include safe viewing of the eclipse through special telescopes! Plus, Steve shared his excitement for next April’s total solar eclipse that will bring thousands of visitors to Northeast Ohio.
