If you love dogs and love to bowl then you won’t want to miss Strikes for Strays. The event takes place this Sunday at the Spevock’s Nautical Lanes in Avon Lake. Today Karen Spiewacki of Love a Stary told us the about upcoming fundraiser and how others can volunteer for the organization.

There is a  Bald Eagle cam at Sandy Ridge Park in North Ridgeville. Not only did we check it out this morning, but we learned a little more about the country’s national bird with the Lorain County Metroparks’ Tim Fairweather.

Kraft Hockeyville, USA is back! Former NHL  All-Star Jeremy Roenick let us know how hockey fans can nominate their hometown ice rink to receive $150,000 in upgrades and host an NHL preseason game.

The Second Harvest food bank is starting their Harvest for Hunger Campaign on Monday. The day will feature a kick-off party at the organization offices on Baumhart Road in Lorain. Today, Susan Bartash of the Second Harvest Food Bank spoke with Bruce and Craig about the event and how others can help in the campaign.

On Friday, March 18th the Lorain County Urban League will be holding an Equal Opportunity Day Conference and Luncheon. A panel of local professionals will discuss a recent study done by Ohio State University on the race and ethnicity in the work place. Frank Whitfield of the Lorain County Urban league hand more information on the event today on the Morning Show.
