Cindy Kushner, the Director of School and Community Partnership, stopped by to talk about the event which aims to give future students and the community members a look at all that is available at LCCC Learning Centers. 9/9/22 7:20 There’s a new park in the Lorain County Metro Parks system! It’s the Avon Wetlands at Miller Nature Preserve. The 57-acre park at the intersection of Riegelsberger and Jaycox roads in Avon is funded with support from the Ohio EPA wetlands mitigation program. Avon Mayor Bryan Jensen, along with some folks from the Metro Parks, held the park’s grand opening as it is ready to be enjoyed by the community. (8:07)
