8/30/23 7:40 It’s time to check in with Elyria Mayor Frank Whitfield! The Mayor discussed a recent incident involving a city employee that harassed the mayor and his family. Mayor Whitfield also recapped a successful summer of Walking Tours and shared tons of information about upcoming events. The Midway Mall Townhall meeting is this Thursday from 5:30-7pm, the Elyria Farmers Market returns this Saturday along with a Pops concert at 6:30pm! 8/29/23 7:20 The Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity is set to unveil its 400 Home Campaign in partnership with the Cuyahoga Land Bank through a groundbreaking and appreciation ceremony and new home tour on Tuesday, August 29th at 10:30am. President and CEO John Litten stopped by to talk about the event and initiative that will help hundreds of families in need.

8/29/23 7:40 The FDA recently approved the next generation Micra leadless pacemakers, the world’s smallest pacemakers. Now with a battery that lasts between 16 and 17 years, most Micra patients will only need one pacemaker for life. Cardiac Electrophysiologist Dr. Rob Kowal discussed how the new enhancements to Micra pacemakers, including increased battery longevity and a streamlined implantation process, benefit patients while building on a legacy of innovation in the cardiac device industry.
