Laura talked about a recent board approval for their Youth and Educational Development grants that total over $560,000! Plus, July 27th, they’ll be hosting a Chick-fil-A Dine and Donate for Lorain County Imagination Library at the Lorain Chick-fil-A on Leavitt Road. Finally, a Women’s Leadercast is also coming up August 8th at 5pm at Lakeview Park. (13:32)

7/17/23 8:40 According to the Federal Trade Commission, money-making scams include everything from cryptocurrency to fake job offers, and they’re costing people big. In 202, consumers reported losing almost $4 billion dollars to investment scams alone. That’s more than people lost to any other scam, and more than double what people reported losing the year before. FTC spokesperson Fil de Banate joined the guys to discuss money-making scams, and how people can spot, avoid, and report fraud to the FTC. (11:07)
