Mike Jindra and Kat Solove from Lorain County Public Health paid us a visit this morning to talk about their efforts to inspect local campgrounds and beaches, and also shared some safety tips for people heading outdoors this summer. Broadcaster Jim Rosenhaus made his weekly stop with the guys to talk about the bats coming to life this week and how that momentum must carry into a weekend set in Minnesota. (7:17)

6/1/23 8:20 U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown returned to the Morning Show as this week, he’s demanded that three of the large Class 1 railroads that operate and own significant track in Ohio – Norfolk Southern, CSX, and Canadian National Railway – improve their upkeep of infrastructure they own in Ohio. This week, the guys talk about Durling Middle School 7th grader Bridget Smith, who won the Lorain County Spelling Bee and is headed to Washington D.C. this week to compete in the Scripps National Spelling Bee! Plus, a couple of local high school students took up the role of Dave this month as they served as reporters for the 2023 Dazzle Awards in Cleveland. (8:21)

5/26/23 7:20 We have a champion! The winner of this year’s final of the Scholastic Games of Lorain County is Lake Ridge Academy who have successfully defended their title from last year! Team Captain Finn Pasatta, along with team members Ayaan Siddiqi and Nate Barrens, sat down with Bob Tayek to talk about this year’s season and how they were able to bring home another Scholastic Games crown! 5/26/23 8:10 A hollerin’ good time awaits at Cedar Point’s Frontier Festival! Frontier Town is set to come alive with live music, interactive games for kids and adults, artisans, crafters, roaming family entertainment, festive decor and savory corn-inspired treats as Frontier Festival is officially underway!
