The second Republican debate is in the books, now get the break down with conservative political analyst David Arredondo.

Senator Sherrod Brown called in to the show this morning and talked to us about the GOP Debate, the Iranian Nuclear Deal and New Legislation that would improve programs for Homeless Veterans in the United States.

The Elyria Rotary Club will be selling Fried Ice Cream this weekend at the Apple Festival. The proceeds  from the  sales of the delicious treat will go to fund a number of projects in the City of Elyria and to the eradication of polio worldwide.  Today, Elyria Rotary Club Co-Chair Mike Gebhardt came by the show to give us more information about the club and their fried ice cream.

Kris Ross and Julie Schoenlein from the Lorain County Children Services told us about the upcoming foster parent information session on Tuesday, September 22.

The Midview Parade of Bands hits the field this Saturday at Midview High School. The event will feature a number of local bands performing their routines on the Middies football field. This morning, Midview’s Band Director Josh Brunger came by The Morning Show to tell us more about this weekends event.

After the weekend, the Indians are just 4.5 games behind the Texas Rangers for the final wild card spot in the American League. How did they do it? Well today on the morning show Indians VP Bob DiBiasio told us how this young Indians team is getting the job done.

“Still Dreaming” is a documentary about a group of elderly entertainment retirees, as they mount a production of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. It will be showing this weekend at the Lake Erie Arts and Film Festival in Sandusky. After the weekend’s showing their will be a Q&A session with members of Stein Hospice. Today, Shea Alltmont, Community Relations Coordinator for Stein Hospice, stopped by the show to talk about the movie and the upcoming festival.

There is hope after strokes. Today on The Morning Show Matt Lopez, stroke survivor and CEO of the National Stroke Association, told us his story and talked about the organizations Come Back Strong movement.

the LeanOhio Bootcamp is a 5-day training program that gets people learning and using Lean methods and tools to make government simpler, faster, better and less costly. The Educational Service Center will be holding these classes Oct.5-12 and Nov. 18-24 for local leaders working in Ohio cities, townships, counties, school districts, public universities or other governmental agencies and organizations.  Moira Erwine from the Educational Service Center told us more about the five day boot camp and how those interested can attend.

The Skunks are coming! This weekend in North Ridgeville skunk owners from around the globe will meet to show off their friendly pets, but the event is about more than just skunks. Today, the Skunk Fest’s own Deb Cipriani came by The Morning Show to give us a preview of Skunk Fest 2015.
