3/6/23 7:40 Dementia and memory problems are a growing worry as Americans are living longer, but not living very smart (or healthily). What does the latest medical and brain science say is necessary to reduce the risk of dementia by 50%? Doctors Mitchell and Emily Clionsky have written a new book titled DEMENTIA PREVENTION: Using Your Head to Save Your Brain. Dr. Mitchell Clionsky joined the guys to talk about the book, the latest science behind dementia, and some easy things people can do to drastically reduce their risk of developing dementia. With March being Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, this event brings awareness to the many providers in the community who offer help to those struggling with ADHD, learning issues, an autism spectrum disorder, and other developmental delays. Spokeswomen Joellen Podoll stopped by to talk about the free event which features over 70 local providers including therapists, mental health professionals, funding sources, transition services, and more. It takes place Tuesday, March 14th, from 6-8pm at Lorain County Community College. (14:02)
