Nearly 300 mayors from across the nation are attending to discuss solutions to a wide range of issues facing cities, including public safety, mental health, immigration, infrastructure, and climate change. Mayor Whitfield joined the guys on the Morning Show to talk about what kind of knowledge and expertise he hopes to gain from the conference and what issues he wants to change right here in Elyria. Development Officer and friend of the Morning Show, Laura Malone, returned to discuss plenty of things, including the 2023 Power of Endowment, their annual event for non-profits to help them steward donations and other ins and outs of non-profit work. It also serves as their kick-off annual Connect to a Cause campaign! The 2023 Power of Endowment takes place next Friday, January 27th, from 8:30-11am at the Amherst Historical Society!
