The Lorain County Historical Society has announced the second annual Hickories on Tap, a fundraising event to be held on the grounds of The Hickories Museum on Saturday, September 10th, from 3-7pm! Kathy Dean-Dielman joined the show to discuss plans for the event as well as local participating breweries, including Avon Brewing Co., Bascule Brewery and Public House, ESP Brewing Co., Railroad Brewing Co., and Unplugged Brewing Co. After ten years in the NFL, including a Super Bowl Championship with the Green Bay Packers, former defensive lineman Darius Holland hung up his cleats to join the clergy. He’s now a U.S. Army chaplain, coaching soldiers on personal spiritual practice and the tools to support them in times of stress and hardship. He joined the Morning Show crew to talk about his journey from the football field to the army and his role as chaplain. (8:24)

8/23/22 8:10 The Educational Service Center of Lorain County will be hosting a Substitute Teacher Job Fair from 11am-2pm tomorrow, Wednesday, August 24th, at 1885 Lake Avenue in Elyria! School districts, including Avon Lake, Clearview, Firelands, and Lorain, will have recruiters on site to help anyone from new college graduates to educators who have retired. ESC Superintendent Franco Gallo stopped by to talk about the event and the benefits of attending. (7:50)
