- May 24th – Jenny Arntz, Main Street Wellington
- June’s F1rst Fr1day in Wellington promises to be EXTRA fun! At least that’s what Main Street Wellington Executive Director Jenny Arntz said during the WEOL Morning Show! - May 31st – Maureen Simen, Positively Oberlin
- It’s Positively Oberlin! Positively Oberlin Program Manager Maureen Simen stopped by to discuss 2nd Saturdays! They happen on the 2nd Saturday of June, July, August, and September! They are full of a variety of fun, including crafts, shipping, dining, scavenger hunts, music, and more! June’s is right around the corner, so Maureen shared some of the events you can expect to find next month!
- June 7th – Teresa Gilles, Main Street Amherst
- It’s almost time for “Walkin’ on Wednesday” with Main Street Amherst! Executive Director Teresa Gilles joined the Morning Show to talk about all that’s going on at tomorrow’s event! There will be a car show, food trucks, and more! The fun goes from 4 to 7:30pm, check out the Main Street Amherst website HERE for more details!
- June 14th – MariLou Suszko, Main Street Vermilion
- This week we focus on Main Street Vermilion with Executive Director Marilou Suszko to talk about this weekend’s different events on Main Street, including Vermilion in Bloom and the Vermilion Arts Guild!
- June 21st – Max Schaefer, Main Street Lorain
- This week we focus on Main Street Lorain with Executive Director Max Schaefer! Max talked about the summer block party’s on Broadway, monthly “Mini Sweeps”, and next month’s performing of Hamlet: Prince of Denmark on the Black River Landing!
- June 28th – Jenny Arntz, Main Street Wellington
- This Friday is the first Friday of July, which means it’s time for First Friday’s with Main Street Wellington! Jenny Arntz returned to the show as she talks about this weekend’s festivities, including a free ice cream social, live music, and fireworks for the holiday!
- July 5th – Maureen Simen, Positively Oberlin
- Maureen talked about this Saturday’s theme, Discover Community in Oberlin, and shared some of the events that will take place including fireworks and live music!
- July 12th – Teresa Gilles, Main Street Amherst
- Teresa Gilles returned to talk all about this week’s events, including a car show, another edition of Walkin’ on Wednesday, plus Shred-It Day and Mocktail Hour at the Amherst Public Library!
- July 19th – MariLou Suszko, Main Street Vermilion
- This week it’s all about driftwood! It’s been another banner year for driftwood collecting and you can see the creative ways artists put it to use during All Washed Up, Vermilion’s driftwood art contest returning for its 4th season this Saturday, July 23rd, from 10am-3pm in Exchange Park!
- July 26th – Max Schaefer, Main Street Lorain
- This week we check in on Main Street Lorain with Executive Director Max Schaefer! The final “Shakespeare in the Park” performance of the year is coming up this Sunday at the Black River Landing and is free for the community! Plus, Max shared some details about this Friday’s Broadway Block Party!
