August 29th, Main Street Lorain
- This week we head to Lorain with Executive Director Max Schaefer to catch up with what’s going on, including next month’s Firefish Festival!
August 22nd, Main Street Vermilion
- This week we head to Vermilion with Main Street Vermilion Executive Director Kate Repola! Kate talked about their upcoming event, “Shake, Rattle and Stroll”, as well as their Historic Walking Tour!
August 9th, Main Street Amherst
- What’s going on over at Main Street Amherst? For this week’s Main Street Beat, Teresa Gilles from Main Street Amherst joined the guys as she talked Walkin’ on Wednesday, the Kids Explorer’s Club, DORA, and their need for donations to their Scholarship Fund.
August 8th, Oberlin Business Partnership
- Experience Oberlin Saturdays are filled with chances to discover or rediscover Oberlin! On this week’s Main Street Beat, Janet Haar from the Oberlin Business Partnership joined the guys as she talked about Experience Oberlin Saturday, taking place this Saturday from 11am-3pm on Tappan Square! Plus, be a part of the Oberlin Farmers Market, running from 9a-noon!
August 1st, Oberlin Business Partnership
- This week we return to Oberlin with Oberlin Business Partnership Executive Director Janet Haar! Janet talked about an upcoming OBP event in Lorain titled “INSPIRING WOMEN SERIES”, where you will have the opportunity to network with women who are on their journeys, to be inspired, and to inspire others! It’s from 5:30pm-8pm at the Sunset Terrace in Lorain!
July 25th, Main Street Lorain
- This week we head to Main Street Lorain with Executive Director Max Schaefer! Max talked about a ton of upcoming events, including the FireFish Festival on September 16th! Plus, on October 7th, the Monster Mash Dash fun run returns!
July 18th, Main Street Vermilion
- This week the guys head to Main Street Vermilion where they were joined by Executive Director Kate Repola! Kate talked about “Chalk it Up” and how this year they are including Vermilion’s assisted living facilities as well as middle and high school students. Also, registration opens up soon for their Historic Walking Tour!
July 11th, Main Street Amherst
- We’re back on the Main Street Beat as this week we head to Main Street Amherst with Executive Director Teresa Gilles! Teresa talked about the continuation and growth of their “Walkin’ on Wednesday” series, and their car show happening over on Church Street! Plus, tomorrow is the launch of their brand new “Kids Explorers Club”, which should be a ton of fun this summer!
July 5th, Oberlin Business Partnership
- A busy summer continues in Oberlin! Director Janet Haar talked about a number of upcoming events, including the Tunes on Tappan Supper Concert Series, the Oberlin Famers Market dates and times, and the Downtown Oberlin Architecture Walking Tour!
June 13th, Main Street Vermilion
- Summer is a great time to be by the water, and no one knows that better than Main Street Vermilion Executive Director and Vermilion native Kate Repola! Kate is still getting her feet under herself as Executive Director, but what a summer she has lined up! One fun event is the annual Driftwood Art Contest, taking place July 8th at Exchange Park! Kate gave us details on the contest, what makes it so fun, and a new addition this year so that even the little kiddos have something to enjoy!
June 7th, Main Street Amherst
- This week we head to Amherst where Executive Director Teresa Gilles joined us to talk about their first “Walkin’ on Wednesday” event set to kick off the program one week from today. With tons of vendors and even a car show, there’s something fun for everybody to enjoy!
May 30th, Oberlin Business Partnership
- Today’s focus was Oberlin as Oberlin Business Partnership Executive Director Janet Haar joined the guys to discuss about a busy month of June, including the annual Juneteenth celebration and the annual Chalk Walk!
May 23rd, Main Street Wellington
- This week, we head to Main Street Wellington with their Executive Director Jenny Arntz! Jenny stopped by to talk about their Galaxy Far, Far Away for a Day event coming up on June 24th. Plus, they have an upcoming building mural that will be in conjunction with the Lorain County Fair!
