Yellowstone park is celebrating its Centennial Summer. This morning Yellowstone National Park Superintendent Dan Wenk let us know why a visit to America’s first National Park is just perfect for this time of year.

May is the month to celebrate mothers, and this month the Lorain County General Health District has put together the seven ways local mothers can save time, have self time, and discover peace of mind. This morning Director of Community Health Cindy Modie gave us the run down on the topic.

Dr. Andrea Singer, Clinical Director with the National Osteoporosis Foundation, spoke with Bruce and Craig about the importance of bone density scans and combating this silent disease.

On Wednesday Ceder Points new roller coaster ValRaven was opened to the media for a first look and ride. Our own Bruce Vandyke made the trip to Sandusky and spoke with those responsible for the new thrill ride.

This Friday and Saturday superheros and villeins will be running through the streets of Elyria for the 5th annual Elyria Superhero Weekend. This morning Jennifer Basil, Jerry Ivancic and Mark Mackaye (Poison Ivy, Mr. Incredible, and Loke) told us what we can expect on the weekend.

Ceder Point is set to unleash their newest roller coaster, Valraven, This morning we caught up with WLKR News Director Scott Truxell who was live at the Point.

This Saturday the musical group New Odyssey will perform at Elyria High School Performing Arts Center. Hear how these three musicians learned to play over 30 instruments with band member Gary Todd.
