Current Lorain County Community College President Dr. Roy Church will retire from the position at the end of June. Last night LCCC made the announcement that Vice President Marcia Ballinger will be Dr. Church’s successor. After the press conference, Craig Adams spoke one-on-one with Dr. Church about the decision and his time at the school.

Lorain County Community College Trustee Chairmen Terry Goode spoke with Craig about why Marcia Ballinger was the right choice for President of LCCC.

Last night Elyria Superintendent Tom Jama addressed the school board and the public with his annual State of the School address. After his speech Craig Adams caught up with Dr. Jama for a brief interview.

On Wednesday Elyria Police Chief Duane Whitely addressed the public about a new drug that is working its way through the streets of the city. WEOL’s Craig Adams was on hand to speak with Chief Whitley.
