The North Ridgeville Chamber of Commerce’s Marjorie Snyder stopped in this morning to tell us about this years Holiday on the Ridge.

This Thursday is the 14th annual Zero-Proof Mix-Off at the Lorain County Community College Spitzer Conference Center. From 5:30pm – 7:30pm 23 organizations will compete to claim the most delicious non-alcoholic drink in the area. This Morning we found out more about the annual event with Katie Bevan of the Lorain County General Health District.

The United Way is helping out those in need this holiday season. This morning Ryan Aroney of the United Way of Greater Lorain County spoke to Craig and Bruce about the organizations newest initiative.

The Christmas lights are up all around the Lorain County Metro Parks. Today we spoke with the LCMP’s Venessa Klesta about the yearly tradition of the Holiday Lights.

Kick off the holiday season with Cleveland’s Winterfest this Saturday. This morning Meghan Tinker gave us the run down of the holiday celebration at the Playhouse Square.

This year Lorain’s Waterfront Winterfest will span two full days, Nov. 28 and Nov. 29. The festivities will kick off with a parade this Saturday, but Steve Bansek will let you know there is so much more.

This morning we took a look back at Cleveland TV in the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s. Mike Olszewski, co-author of Cleveland TV Tales Volume 2, talked to us about everything from the Son of Ghoul, the rise of the glamorous news anchor and Cleveland’s investigative reporters.

Ford Motor Company has created a unique suit to teach young people about the dangers of driving under the influence of illegal drugs. Now the suit will be incorporated into the Ford Driving Skills for Life Driver Program. Today we spoke with  Jim Graham, Director of Driving Skills, about how the suit is being used to help teach teenagers learn responsible driving.

The old rules of engagement have changed, and innovative business leader Zain Raj shows how to adapt in his new book, Marketing for Tomorrow, Not Yesterday: Surviving and Thriving in the insight Economy. Today we spoke with Zain about 21st century marketing.

Lorain County Community College will hold a special Thanksgiving Dinner from 5-7pm on Wednesday, November 25 for anyone unable to share the holiday with family or friends. LCCC Student Life Manager Selina Gaddis told us more about the even this morning.

The Browns had the week off, but there are still a lot of questions as to the future of the coaches and players. The Chronicle Telegram’s Scott Petrak offered up his opinion on those subjects.

This Sunday the Lorain Historical Society will celebrated the end of construction at the Carnegie Center with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. Today, the Lorain Historical Society’s Barb Piscopo told us about the event and everything that went into restoring the space.
