Vice President of the Cleveland Indians Bob DiBiasio came on the show today to talk one hitters and test you knowledge of Indians legend Bob Feller.

After one preseason game the Cleveland Browns are looking pretty good. Can looks be deceiving? Scott Petrak, of the Chronicle, gives us his take on the Browns first game.

“Spotlight on Lorain” Friday, 8/14/15

Bryan Goldthorpe, Manager of Lakeview Park, dropped by the show to tell us about the beach, the rose garden and history of Lakeview Park.

Lorain County Metro Park Naturalist, Mary Ewers  told us about upcoming event being put on by the Metro Parks.

Dot the dog and her owner Mike Kerr let us know how they keep the beaches clean in Northeastern Ohio.

We got to know the new Superintendent of the Lorain Public Schools Jeffrey Graham a little better

We opened the “Spotlight on Lorain” with First Federal Savings of Lorain’s John Malanowski who talked about everything from banking to possible scams in the area.

Wednesday’s Events in Lorain County

On Wednesday afternoon, the Ford plant in Avon Lake rolled out the first 2016 Ford F-650 truck built in the United States. News Director Craig Adams spoke with Avon Lake Mayor Greg Zilka about what this means for his city.

Craig also spoke with Lt. Governor Mary Taylor about the impact the Ford Deal will have on the state of Ohio.

Avon is opening it’s doors to a brand new middle school just in time for the start of the 2015 – 2016 school year. Craig Adams spoke with Superintendent Mike Laub at Wednesday’s ribbon cutting.

Avon Middle School Principal Dr. Craig Koehler  touched on what students can expect at the new school.

On Wednesday night, the Lorain County Metro Parks showed off future plans for Elyria’s Cascade Park to the public at the Elyria Town Hall. LCMP Director Jim Ziemnik spoke about what these changes will bring to the community.

Alex Klein, Chief Product office of Kano, plans to foster a generation of super-children. He paid a visit to The Morning Show today to tell us exactly how he is going to do that.

It has been one year since Actor Robin Williams took his own life. Today on The Morning Show Dr. Adele Ryan McDowell told us about suicide prevention and how we can help those at risk.
