While Houston’s gay community usually celebrates pride with an all-out party, the National Conference of LGBT Equality is all business. The conference, called ‘Creating Change’, is the largest gathering of LGBT activists. 4,000 people are in attendance here in Houston. The major focuses this year are on ending AIDS and preventing violence. The activists assure that there is really something for everyone. 2013 was a big year for positive change in the LGBT community and they’re looking to make more of an impact in 2014
