The Jamie’s Carpet Shop Touchdowns to Tackle Hunger Campaign is back underway for the 2019 season.

Fore every touchdown that is scored during our high school football radio broadcasts on WEOL, Jamie’s Carpet Shop is donating $10 dollars to the Second Harvest Food Bank of North Central Ohio.

During week Nine of the season, Avon and Olmsted Falls  combined for five more touchdowns.

Adding our Week 9 touchdowns to the grand total. Football teams in and around Lorain County have now raised $560 to help tackle hunger in North East Ohio.

The total is sure to rise in the final week of the season when Avon Lake hosts Olmsted Falls with playoff postioning on the line Friday night on  AM930/100.3FM WEOL.
