You may think dementia only happens to people over 60, but a rare condition known as Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) strikes people in their 40’s and 50’s. Neurologist Dr. Andrea Bozoki (Division of Cognitive and Behavioral Neurology at UNC Chapel Hill) and Susan Dickinson (AFTD Chief Executive Officer) stopped by to talk about FTD symptoms, diagnosis and testing, and treatment options. 9/27/22 7:40 On April 10, 2012, United States Army Staff Sergeant Travis Mills of the 82nd Airborne was critically injured on his third tour of duty in Afghanistan by an IED while on patrol, losing portions of both legs and both arms. He is one of only five quadruple amputees from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan to survive his injuries. Now, the Travis Mills Foundation supports recalibrated veterans and their families. Country star John Rich joined the Morning Show as he will return to the Lorain Palace Theater on Saturday, November 12th, to help raise money for the foundation! (9:28)
