Harvest for Hunger

The Second Harvest Food Bank of North Central Ohio has launched their 30th annual “Harvest for Hunger” campaign! It is one of the largest annual food and funds drives in the nation to raise critical dollars to provide nutritious food for children, families and seniors in our region.

President and CEO Julie Chase-Morfield, along with local leaders, have prepared THIS message regarding safety protocols that must be followed this year.

This year, more families than ever are facing tough choices and empty plates. The community needs your help. Please consider participating. Here’s how:

  • It has never been easier or safer to raise food and funds. Run a Harvest for Hunger Virtual Food Drive or a Virtual Fund Drive. Learn more HERE.
  • Run a Harvest for Hunger Campaign at your workplace or school.
  • Donate at your local Giant Eagle or Heinen’s store. Make a $1, $5 or $10 contribution at the register through Check Out Hunger.
  • Donate Online. For every $1 contributed, Second Harvest can provide 5 meals to local families, children, and seniors in need. DONATE TODAY!

Together, we can be the difference between hunger and hope!
