7:20am – Alison Rozsa Evans will sing alongside her father and LCCC Piano Instructor Dr.Gerald  Evans on March 26th at Wesleyan Village. This morning we spoke with the Elyria Musical Arts Society’s Charlotte Norris about the performance.

2017 Lorain County Ms. Basketball Presentation

On Sunday afternoon at the Lorain County Girls All-Star Basketball Game, Amherst’s Sydney Roule and Keystone’s McKenah Peters were named co-winners of the 2017 Lorain County Ms. Basketball Award.

Amherst’s Sydney Roule becomes the third Comet to receive the award. She had an outstanding senior season averaging 20 points per game, 6.5 rebounds, 2.8 steals and 2.8 assists. Next season Roule, will play Division one Basketball at IUPUI in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Keystone’s McKenah Peters is the first Wildcat to receive the award in its 33-year old history. In her senior year, she averaged 25.2 points and seven rebounds per game. She also reset the Lorain County record books with 241 3-pointers made in the 2016-2017 season. Next season will continue her career at Youngstown State in Youngstown, Ohio.
