There is hope after strokes. Today on The Morning Show Matt Lopez, stroke survivor and CEO of the National Stroke Association, told us his story and talked about the organizations Come Back Strong movement.

the LeanOhio Bootcamp is a 5-day training program that gets people learning and using Lean methods and tools to make government simpler, faster, better and less costly. The Educational Service Center will be holding these classes Oct.5-12 and Nov. 18-24 for local leaders working in Ohio cities, townships, counties, school districts, public universities or other governmental agencies and organizations.  Moira Erwine from the Educational Service Center told us more about the five day boot camp and how those interested can attend.

The Skunks are coming! This weekend in North Ridgeville skunk owners from around the globe will meet to show off their friendly pets, but the event is about more than just skunks. Today, the Skunk Fest’s own Deb Cipriani came by The Morning Show to give us a preview of Skunk Fest 2015.

This Thursday Lorain County Community College will be holding an open house from 6pm – 8pm. Today on The Morning Show, LCCC Associate Provost John Crooks came by to tell us about the event and the many degree’s that are offered by the institute.

Get you marching shoes and instruments ready. This Saturday at Avon Lake High school it’s the 51st Annual Band-A-Rama. David Eddleman, Director of Bands at Avon Lake High School, gave us an idea of what we can expect when the local high school marching bands take the field this weekend.

It’s a big year for the Ford Mustang. For the first time since it’s creation the Mustang is available to customers in more than 100 markets world wide. Today, Ford’s Erich Merkle dropped by The Morning show to talk about the Mustangs international success.

For some Veterans, life after service is different. Making the transition to civilian life can be overwhelming. Just one person, one connection and one act of compassion can make a difference in the life of a Veteran going though a difficult time. Today, Dr. Caitilin Thompson, Deputy Director of Veterans Affairs, told us about The Power of One, and the importance it can play in a Veterans life.
