Longtime TV broadcaster John Telich returned for this week’s Budweiser’s’ From the Sidelines, presented by North Ridgeville Convenient Sunoco on Center Ridge and Barton Roads. This week, the guys talk about the final 53-man roster for the Browns and the trade for Dustin Hopkins following the release of Cade York. 8/31/23 7:40 BrightView’s Elyria addiction treatment center is celebrating one year of providing effective outpatient addiction treatment in Elyria and Lorain County. In the last 12 months, BrightView has helped 263 are residents work towards recovery through 2,374 hours of medical treatment and approximately 1,503 hours of counseling and therapy. Community outreach manager Jaremy Crouse joined the guys to talk about how BrightView reduces substance abuse in Lorain County, “effective” addiction treatment, and what patients think is crucial to successful recovery. Broadcaster Jim Rosenhaus made his weekly stop to recap the series in Minnesota as the Guards return home on Friday to start a critical series with Tampa Bay. (5:41)

The Mayor discussed a recent incident involving a city employee that is accused of harassed the mayor and his family.

Mayor Whitfield also recapped a successful summer of Walking Tours and shared tons of information about upcoming events. The Midway Mall Townhall meeting is this Thursday from 5:30-7pm, the Elyria Farmers Market returns this Saturday along with a Pops concert at 6:30pm! And don’t forget, the Apple Festival returns next month!
