New Emergency Management Agency Director William “Dave” Freeman

The Lorain County Commissioners have hired new directors for the Emergency Management Agency and Emergency 911.

William “Dave” Freeman, was hired to head up the Emergency Management Agency and he stopped by this morning to talk about his new role and what he’s looking forward to getting done in the position.

This week, Community Foundation Development Officer Laura Malone discussed the over $1 million in Health and Human Services grants coming to the foundation along with $500k in scholarships that will be announced next week!

Plus, grant applications for Arts and Culture/Strengthening Lorain County begin on June 1st!

Finally, their annual meeting is coming up on June 21st with the announcement of their 90+ Connect to a Cause participants!
