High School Hoops

It’s a sports-filled Saturday on WEOL! Start your morning with the Nick Abraham Saturday Sports Wrap-Up Show with Rocco Nuosci and Marissa McNees! They’ll talk to area coaches, local reporters, and more! The fun starts at 9 AM on AM 930, 100.3 FM, and online over at the live stream!

Then, we head up to Sandusky for girls tournament basketball! A trip to states is on the line in our Center for Orthopedics Girls Tournament Cage Match-Up as the Olmsted Falls Lady Bulldogs battle Toledo Notre Dame Academy. The tournament trail will continue later on as well! We’ll head over to St. Ignatius high school where the Wildcats host the Lorain Titans in what should be an excellent OHSAA tournament contest.

Coverage for Olmsted Falls/Toledo Notre Dame starts at 1 PM on your radio and through the live stream. Coverage for St. Ignatius/Lorain begins at 7!

We’ll join the Columbus Blue Jackets in-progress after the St.Ignatius/Lorain game as the Jackets travel to Dallas to take on the Stars.

Need something to tie you over between games! We have you covered! The Ohio State men’s basketball team hosts Illinois in a top-ten battle!

Pre-game starts at 3:15 with tipoff at 4 on AM 930 and 100.3 FM!

Fire in Elyria

On the evening of February 24th, a fire in downtown Elyria scorched the old Uncle Vic’s/Mardi Gras building on Kerstetter Way. Two Elyria teens have been charged in connection with the fire, more details on that can be seen at
