The 2025 Divisions I, II, and III girls basketball All-Ohio teams were announced Tuesday by the Ohio Prep Sports Media Association. See below for all of our local Lorain County athletes who received honors. For the complete list of athletes, click here.

Division II

Third Team: Jesse Simon (Olmsted Falls)

Special Mention: Maddie Cerovac (Olmsted Falls)

Honorable Mention: Alaina Pagan (Avon), Emma Shaefer (Olmsted Falls)

Division III

Second Team: Leah DiFranco (Midview)

Special Mention: Olivia Miller (Avon Lake)

The 2025 Avon Lake Shoregals, fresh off a state semifinal win over Brush 43-39

Congratulations to the Avon Lake Shoregals, head coach Paul Appel, and his entire staff for making it all the way to the Division III State Championship Game at the University of Dayton.

WEOL was honored to be able to cover such a special group of girls as they put together an incredible season from start to finish.
