Cleveland Guardians Vice President Bob DiBiasio made his weekly stop to recap the Phillies series as the Guards now turn their attention to the Kansas City Royals to finish off the homestand.

It’s a busy time over at the Community Foundation of Lorain County, so we checked in this morning with Development Officer Laura Malone!

Laura talked about a recent board approval for their Youth and Educational Development grants that total over $560,000!

Plus, July 27th, they’ll be hosting a Chick-fil-A Dine and Donate for Lorain County Imagination Library at the Lorain Chick-fil-A on Leavitt Road. Finally, a Women’s Leadercast is also coming up August 8th at 5pm at Lakeview Park.

There’s a new restaurant coming to Avon Lake! Our own Craig Adams was in Avon Lake for ribbon-cutting of a new restaurant on Lake Road near Moore!

It’s Edacious Kitchen + Bar, which will open to the public this weekend!

We are back on the Main Street Beat! This week the guys head to Main Street Vermilion where they were joined by Executive Director Kate Repola!

Kate talked about “Chalk it Up!” and how this year they are including Vermilion’s assisted living facilities as well as middle and high school students. Also, registration opens up soon for their Historic Walking Tour!
