A busy season in Oberlin continues this week with the 16th annual Chalk Walk!

This Saturday, June 24th, come out to Downtown Oberlin for some incredible artwork! Master Artist Hector Castellanos Lara, who’s been a part of this since the beginning in 2006, stopped by to talk about the event and what it means to both the Oberlin Community and himself.

Summer is a great time to be by the water, and no one knows that better than Main Street Vermilion Executive Director and Vermilion native Kate Repola!

Kate is still getting her feet under herself as Executive Director, but what a summer she has lined up! One fun event is the annual Driftwood Art Contest, taking place July 8th at Exchange Park! Kate gave us details on the contest, what makes it so fun, and a new addition this year so that even the little kiddos have something to enjoy!

The Elyria Kiwanis are bringing back their annual Strawberry Social!

Ohio District Vice Chair Dennis Lehman joined the show to talk about the Kiwanis and what folks who attend the social can expect, such as a DELICIOUS Strawberry Shortcake Sunday! Cost of admission is just $7 for the social, which takes place June 14th from 4-7:30pm at St. Mary’s Hall on Middle Avenue.
