June’s F1rst Fr1day in Wellington promises to be EXTRA fun! At least that’s what Main Street Wellington Executive Director Jenny Arntz said during the WEOL Morning Show! This Sunday, it’s the 1st Annual Tennis Bash at the Avon Oaks Country Club! It’s a fundraising event for The Blessing House featuring radio voice of the Cavaliers, Tim Alcorn as the emcee!

The third Thursday of the month means it’s time to focus on the Community Foundation of Lorain County! Joining us this month was Development Officer Laura Malone! Laura shared a ton of upcoming events and happenings with the Community Foundation, including:

• Two new pass-through funds
• Community Foundation of Lorain County Grants Webinar on Zoom (June 2nd)
• Annual meeting from 11am to 1pm at the Elyria Performing Arts Center (June 15th)

To honor the late Joe Tait, the Joe Tait Scholarship is awarded to a pair of Cloverleaf High School graduates! Radio voice of the Cavs Tim Alcorn and Scott Malarkey from Hometown Dental both stopped by to talk about honoring Joe and this year’s recipients, Ashton Newton and Laurell Brown!
