The Lake Erie Crushers have made some changes over the last week. This morning Crushers’ play-by-play man, Andy “Bull” Barch, told us a little more about the teams new manager Cameron Roth.

Over recent years the United State’s steel industry has been compromised by imports from China, Indian, Italy, Korea and Taiwan. Today Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown let us know about a new bill that if passed would help rebuild the steel industry in America.

The Hooks for Hunger Walleye Tournament will take place this Saturday in Avon Lake. Find out more about this charity event how these fishermen are trying to help those in need with spokesman Joe Reitz.

Celebrate the Fourth of July this Thursday in Elyria’s 2016 Salute to America. This morning Mayor Holly Brinda told us more about the big event at West Park.

Michelle Beber, author of Angels, Angels, Everywhere, told us about her award-winning picture book and why she decided to write the story.

On Tuesday afternoon, those in favor of public transportation in Lorain county held a rally at Elly Square. Below is the sound from the event.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation is helping 14 year old heart transplant recipient Zoe Tanner get to Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas. Donations are currently being taken at Walgreens. This morning, the Make-A-Wish Foundation’s Megan Cantrell and Zoe’s mother Chrissy Snider spoke to us about Zoe’s wish.
