9/30/22 8:10 Vroom, vroom! The Second Harvest Food Bank of North Central Ohio is back with their “Cruisin’ to Fight Hunger” car show! Cars will be judged, trophies will be awarded, and proceeds will help fight hunger with Second Harvest! Spokeswomen Tiffani Reedy joined the show to talk about the event which takes place this Friday, October 7th, at NAPA Auto Parts on 1020 East Broad Street in Elyria. (6:04)

The Lorain County Chamber of Commerce, along with Lorain County Growth Partnership, are excited to be back with this event as they highlight the facilities and certification and educational programs that LCCC has to help fill many of our workforce issues for local manufacturing companies. 9/29/22 7:20 John Telich made his weekly stop with Rocco Nuosci on this week’s Budweiser’s From the Sidelines, presented by North Ridgeville Convenient Sunoco on Center Ridge and Barton Roads. J.T. talked about the likelihood of Myles Garrett appearing in Sunday’s game after rolling his car in an accident earlier this week. On the field, how good has Jacoby Brissett been? Well, pretty dang good according to the guys. Plus, John broke down the win over Pittsburgh last Thursday and how that puts them in a great spot this week heading down to Atlanta. (17:45)

9/29/22 7:40 Senator Sherrod Brown has been a busy man as of late, but he did manage to give the guys on the WEOL Morning Show a few minutes of his time! Senator Brown recently announced that General Motors will make its first U.S. propulsion plant transformation for the electric vehicle (EV) supply chain in Ohio, with a $760 million investment in GM Toledo. Sherrod also discussed the beginning of the annual hearings to hold big banks accountable when it comes to serving their consumers, as he is the chairman of the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee. 9/28/22 7:20 Dave O’Brien returned with Rocco Nuosci for this week’s Local Beat, presented by Vandemark Jewelers on East Broad Street in Elyria, a trusted name in jewelry! Dave shared some details from this week’s fire at the Wellington water treatment plant and what the damages mean for the village. Plus, researchers at UH are getting $12.5 million to track flu viruses for the CDC, and Dave explained how and why the grant money came to be. (9:47)

Fresh off homecoming, Ben talked about this past weekend of activities in Avon, how their new performing arts center is doing so far since opening, and what’s in store for the Avon students the rest of this fall semester! 9/28/22 8:50 You save the best for last, right? UH Avon Health Center General Manager Brad Calabrese joined the table to close out our “Celebrate Avon” day. The facility has seen plenty of changes in the past few years, especially with the pool. Brad announced that the pool is all set to reopen this Saturday, October 1st! Brad walked us through the process of getting the pool ready for guests once again and why folks in Avon will be excited to come back and use it. (7:01)

9/27/22 7:20 Mental illness or something more? You may think dementia only happens to people over 60, but a rare condition known as Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) strikes people in their 40’s and 50’s. Neurologist Dr. Andrea Bozoki (Division of Cognitive and Behavioral Neurology at UNC Chapel Hill) and Susan Dickinson (AFTD Chief Executive Officer) stopped by to talk about FTD symptoms, diagnosis and testing, and treatment options. 9/27/22 7:40 On April 10, 2012, United States Army Staff Sergeant Travis Mills of the 82nd Airborne was critically injured on his third tour of duty in Afghanistan by an IED while on patrol, losing portions of both legs and both arms. He is one of only five quadruple amputees from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan to survive his injuries. Now, the Travis Mills Foundation supports recalibrated veterans and their families. Country star John Rich joined the Morning Show as he will return to the Lorain Palace Theater on Saturday, November 12th, to help raise money for the foundation! (9:28)
