2019 Lorain County High School Football Coaches Show

On Wednesday, August 14th WEOL and the Coaches of Lorain County will gather at the Brew Kettle in Amherst for the 2019  Lorain County High School Football Preview Show.

WEOL’s  Tim Alcorn and Tom Evans will chat with the guys about the upcoming football season, the outlooks of their respective conferences, and the players you will want to keep an eye on.

Get out to the Brew Kettle in Amherst Wednesday, August 14th for our live show from 6pm until we talk with the last coach.

WEOL REACHES AGREEMENT WITH CENTER FOR ORTHOPEDICS TO SERVE AS PRIMARY PARTNER/TITLE SPONSOR WITH THE RADIO STATION FOR LORAIN COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS COVERAGE IN ’19-’20 SCHOOL YEARWEOL to broadcast/stream nearly 100 high school football, basketball, baseball and softball contests starting Friday August 30, 2019 through June 2020. For Immediate Release—Monday August 12, 2019 ELYRIA, Oh. – WEOL announced today a primary partnership/Title Sponsorship agreement with the Center for Orthopedics for the radio stations’ upcoming coverage of Lorain County high school sports beginning in the 2019-20 school year.  The WEOL/Center for Orthopedics partnership will include every Lorain County high school football, high school basketball (boys and girls) and high school baseball and softball game the station broadcasts/streams starting on Friday August 30th and concluding in June of 2020.  The Center for Orthopedics Title Sponsorship will include both Lorain County regular season and all post-season contests aired on the radio and streamed on the stations’ mobile app and website (www.weol.com).  The station anticipates covering approximately 100 high school contests in the upcoming school year.   “I am thrilled to announce the inclusion of the Center for Orthopedics as the Title Sponsor to our high school sports coverage beginning with the 2019 football season,” said WEOL Station Manager Tim Alcorn.  “The opportunity to partner with such an outstanding organization through the radio station’s coverage of high school sports in our area is an exciting venture.  We look forward to having our listeners learn more about the incredibly talented staff at CFO as they have developed an exceptional reputation for providing a quality experience for those in need of their services.  We also appreciate their tremendous support of high school athletics by joining the station in this Naming Rights/Title Sponsor relationship” Alcorn added.

2019 North Ridgeville Cornfestival on WEOL presented by Gallon, Takacs & Boissoneault

The North Ridgeville Corn Festival begins is this weekend and WEOL will be there.

On Saturday, August 10th from noon – 5:30pm WEOL’s  Craig Adams and Andy “Bull” Barch will be on hand to  talk with food vendors, entertainers, and those in attendance to give you an in depth look at the big event with live break ins on AM930 and 100.3FM

Before you head out for the good times, tune into WEOL and hear what is going on at the 2019 North Ridgeville Corn Festival.

 

Bull’s Eye and the Crushers live from the Abbewood Monday 8/12

Bull’s Eye on the Afternoon are joining the Lake Erie Crushers on Monday afternoon live from the Abbewood on Abbe Road in Elyria.

Join us from 3pm -6pm for the live broadcast, and while you are there, meet with players from the Lake Erie Crushers.

During that time, players from the team will be on hand to talk with fans and sign autographs. A certain bear may even be making an appearance.

The event is free and open to the public, so stop by the Abbewood in Elyria on Monday, August 12th and hit one out of the park with WEOL and the Lake Erie Crushers.
