Mike Bass Ford kicks off Lorain County United Way campaign!

Monday, August 11th, 2014

Mike Bass Ford to knows how to properly kickoff a United Way campaign. The dealership will host the United Way of Lorain County’s kickoff event at its dealership again, turning its showroom into a football stadium that’s complete with a marching band. AM930 WEOL will be there as well, broadcasting live with prizes! Don’t forget, all season long, For every touchdown & turnover, Mike Bass

Our annual tailgate themed Campaign Kickoff will take place Friday, August 22nd from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at Mike Bass Ford in Sheffield Village.

During football season and for high school football games, Mike Bass Ford supplies a pickup truck that accepts non-perishable food donations that it gives to the Second Harvest Food Bank. The dealership also makes a $25 donation for every major play, including touchdowns, field goals and turnovers, at the broadcast games.
“When you have a game like Avon versus Avon Lake where this year there were six turnovers and plenty of touchdowns and field goals, it can really add up,” said Bass. “But it all goes to a good cause.”
