High School Basketball Season is underway. On the first edition of Dr. Karen Kramer DDS Inside the Paint we take a look at the opening season tournaments, players to watch and name our Janasko Insurance Players of the Week in Boys and Girls Basketball.

This year’s Zero-Proof Mix Off presented by the Lorain County Public Health and Lorain County Community College will take place Thursday, Dec. 6, and WEOL’s Bull’s Eye on the Afternoon will be there.

Join Bull and Matt from 3pm-6pm as they go live from the Spitzer Conference Center on the Campus of LCCC for the 17th Annual Zero-Proof Mix Off. During the show we will speak with the members of Lorain County Public Health who put on the event, the contestants who make the drinks and the judges who decide who will take home this years big prize.

While we take the airwaves until 6pm, the Zero-Proof Mix Off officially begins at 5:30pm and will run until 7:30pm. Aside from the delicious non-alcoholic drinks this years event will also feature live music, prizes to be given away and much more. The best part, there is no charge to come and taste the more than 20 delicious drinks that are mixed by local agencies and organizations. You can even take home a recipe book, so that you can give guest at your holiday parties a great non-alcoholic drink alternative.

The High School Basketball Season tips-off this Friday and Saturday on AM930 and WEOL.com.

Join us starting Friday night right around 8pm when Vermilion takes Oberlin in the final game of the opening night of the Boys Vermilion Tip-Off Tournament.

On Saturday it is a  day filled with high school hoops on AM930 and WEOL.com. We begin the day with the opening game of the DiFranco Classic on the radio at 12:30pm when the Midview girls host Keystone. When the Girls wrap up, join us as the Lorain Titans Boys team, fresh off their final four appearance a year ago, open the season against the Euclid Panthers. We return to our radio coverage of the DiFranco Classic at 5:30pm when Elyria battles North Ridgeville, (boys). We conclude the evening’s events on WEOL.com Stream 2 with the Boys match-up of Midview vs Keystone.

Saturday night, right here on WEOL.com Stream 3 it’s the continuation of the Boys Vermilion Tip-off. At 5:30pm we bring you the consolation match-up followed by the Championship game.
