2018 Best of Lorain County

It’s time once again for the Best of Lorain County presented by Pulse Magazine.

On Wednesday July 11, WEOL will get you ready for the big event with a live broadcast of Bull’s Eye on the Afternoon for the  2018 Best of Lorain County at the Spitzer Conference Center and Stocker Center of Lorain County Community College.

From 3pm-6pm we will talk to finalist from a number of categories and get you ready for the big night.  After the show, get to LCCC as the big event rolls on from 6pm-9pm.

2018 Spotlight on Wellington On Demand

On Monday, July 9th and Tuesday, July 10th the Morning Show made its way out to Wellington for our 2018 Spotlight Series.

During out time there, Bruce and Craig  spoke with town historians, members of the the Lorain County Fair, representatives of Finley state park, and local politicians.

Democratic Candidate for Lt. Governor Betty Sutton

Betty Sutton who is running on the Democratic Governor’s ticket with Richard Cordray is in Oberlin this week.

During her time in Lorain County she will speak with residents about the importance of clean, sustainable and affordable energy.

On Tuesday morning she joined Bruce and Craig on the WEOL Morning Show to speak about her trip to Oberlin, why she felt now was the time to run for the Lt. Governor’s position, and what she and Richard Cordray hope to do if they win the November election.
