The Center for Orthopedics Gridiron Clash on AM930/100.3FM and WEOL.com Stream 1, Features two teams with high expectations for 2019. The Avon Eagles enter Friday night having defeated their arch rivals Avon Lake by one point in the season opener.

The Lorain Titans, didn’t get off to the start they had hoped dropping their week one match up to Brunswick 31-7. With that game in the books, a victory against the Eagles would go a long way to heal that wound.

The Comets come into the match-up having defeated Lakewood in week one 29-21, while the Falcons suffered a 40-25 loss to Edison.

Pregame coverage begins at 6:30pm on WEOL.com Stream 2.
